Brad and I spent April 13-17, 2011, birding in the Boca Raton-Delray Beach areas in Florida. We photographed this Great Blue Heron in one of the rookeries at Wakodahatchee Wetlands in Delray Beach. It was a partly cloudy morning with temperatures in the mid-80's. This is a must birding site for us whenever we are in the area.
